As Asia is still very much a male dominated culture, we often find that the majority of our leaders in the churches and communities are male. Therefore, their work keeps them very busy and fulfilled but leaves the wives at home taking care of the house and children. We saw this causing separation between husband and wife and difficulties within the marriage and home life.

Therefore, alongside encouraging our leaders in their spiritual lives and ministry lives we also wanted to encourage them in their home lives and to encourage them to work together with their wives in ministry as a team.

So, in 2016 the first of 4 annual couples retreats began. By 2019, more than 86 couples from 10 different tribal groups attended. This year we will host our 5th retreat.
